Tehran: The ongoing war in the Middle East has now entered its fourth week and instead of subsiding, the situation is becoming more tense. Attacks and rhetoric are continuing from both sides, which clearly shows that there is no immediate relief in sight.
On Sunday, Israel said Iranian missiles reached Dimona and Arad. There is special concern about Dimona because Israel's important nuclear center is located there. Many people have been injured in these attacks.
Iran later admitted that the attack was in retaliation for the attack on the Natanz nuclear site.
America's role continues to be important in this entire matter. President Donald Trump has sent a strong message to Iran that the US may take action if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately secured and opened.
This is the same sea route through which a large part of the world's oil passes, hence its importance is very high.
Iran has also made it clear that it is not going to come under pressure. President Massoud Pezeshkian said the threats would not change his stance. He also said that if Iran's power plants or other structures are attacked, structures linked to the US and Israel will be targeted in response.
The illusion of erasing Iran from the map shows desperation against the will of a history-making nation. Threats and terror only strengthen our unity. The Strait of Hormuz is open to all except those who violate our soil. We firmly confront delirious threats on the battlefield.

The statements of Iran's top leaders indicate that the matter cannot be limited to just two countries. If attacks increase, critical infrastructure in surrounding countries may also be at risk. This may further spread the tension.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the President of Iran and expressed concern. He clearly said that such attacks are not good for the stability of the region and can affect trade around the world. He also said that it is important to keep the sea routes open and safe.
Right now the situation is such that the tension increases after every statement. If talks do not work out, this conflict may take a bigger form. The eyes of the world are now on which further step will resolve the situation or make it worse.
